Ministries

Our ministries take many forms — just as “worship” is best defined by those who are doing it. Our ministries include those reaching OUT (to our community) as well as those reaching IN (to our congregation). And we’re adding new ones all the time. If you see something you’d like to try, come along and check it out. If you think of one you’d like to start, let’s get it going. The Holy Spirit is always at work. What we have to do is pay attention and figure out where she’s leading us!

Currently the Chancel Choir has 12-15 members, singing an anthem, and sometimes an additional time in the weekly service. We sing everything from classical to rock, spiritual to contemporary, simple tunes to more complicated arrangements, with 2-4 parts, depending on the personnel,…

Enacted Ministries

Branching Out to Serve What some people refer to as Mission Outreach, or Evangelism, we just think of as our Enacted Ministries. These are some of the places where we answer Jesus’ command to live out our faith and not hide it under a bushel. While many of our members participate in their own activities, as People of the Way, we collectively engage in the following. With our roots firmly planted in Christ’s love and our structural behind-the-scenes needs met…
